The Pilates Room is designed to provide a peaceful and intimate experience to ensure focus and connection to mind, body, & soul. 

 

Susanne is passionate to help clients build strength, tone up, improve flexibility, and enhance their overall well-being through the transformative practice of Pilates. She strives to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported in achieving their personal goals with customized pilates sessions and individual attention.

What is Pilates?

Joseph Pilates created his method (originally called Contrology) with the goal of conditioning both body and mind holistically for maximum efficiency to acquire complete control over one’s body.

The Pilates method can be customized to suit all levels of physical fitness and acts as a complement to the conditioning of any sport as it builds, improves, and challenges foundational movement patterns.

 

The method aims to strengthen every muscle in the body to "develop the body uniformly, correct postures, restore physical vitality, invigorate the mind, and elevate the spirit."

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Form & precision.

Every session will be focused on form and precision; targeting small muscle groups and lengthening each muscle by controlled movements. Each session is tailored to meet clients needs, as well as challenge each individual to build endurance and strength. We strive to provide a luxurious and holistic approach to private training to not only progress but to make you feel good in your own body.

Luxurious equipment.

Besides working with gravity and body weight to perform classical pilates movements on the mat; we work with high-quality, luxurious equipment: the Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda Chair and more, which provide a balanced, efficient, and innovative resistance training. The apparatus offer so many options and alternatives to exercises that a mat simply wouldn’t allow. This is why people become addicted to the method and continue to practice it for decades!

So what can you expect to feel?

The detailed, controlled and resistance-based movements in your session improves flexibility, builds strength, develops control throughout your whole body. Every session emphasises on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
