As a referral-only studio, The Pilates Room offers personalized sessions emphasizing precise form, control, and longevity.

Our private space offers a calm setting for mindful movement and meaningful connection. Therefore, semi-private classes are available by referral from a current client or after beginning private sessions to become familiar with our approach.

PILATES

What is Pilates?
Joseph Pilates created his method (originally called Contrology) with the goal of conditioning both body and mind holistically for maximum efficiency to acquire complete control over one’s body.

The Pilates method can be customized to suit all levels of physical fitness and acts as a complement to the conditioning of any sport as it builds, improves, and challenges foundational movement patterns.
The method aims to strengthen every muscle in the body to "develop the body uniformly, correct postures, restore physical vitality, invigorate the mind, and elevate the spirit."

FORM & PRECISION
Every session will be focused on form and precision; targeting small muscle groups and lengthening each muscle by controlled movements. Each session is tailored to meet clients needs, as well as challenge each individual to build endurance and strength. We strive to provide a luxurious and holistic approach to private training to not only progress but to make you feel good in your own body.

LUXURIOUS EQUIPMENT
Besides working with gravity and body weight to perform classical pilates movements on the mat; we work with high-quality, luxurious equipment: the Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda Chair and more, which provide a balanced, efficient, and innovative resistance training. The apparatus offer so many options and alternatives to exercises that a mat simply wouldn’t allow. This is why people become addicted to the method and continue to practice it for decades!

Our sessions blend the timeless principles of Classical Pilates with modern, contemporary approaches—offering the best of both worlds. You’ll experience traditional exercises on the mat and classical apparatus, combined with innovative movements that enhance strength, flexibility, and control. This thoughtful mix helps you engage the right muscles with precision, focusing on alignment and breath to leave you feeling balanced, strong, and centered.

Our classes encourage deep concentration, helping you leave distractions behind and fully immerse yourself in your practice. To support this mindful environment, we kindly ask that phones be silenced and put away during sessions.
